Fight, Transformers (Live Action Movieverse), Tech Sergeant Robert Epps/Monique Epps
Prompt: a falling out we won't tip toe about
She screams.
He screams.
Then he takes a moment to thank God that the kids are at her mother’s house right now. She uses his moment of silence to storms out, slamming the door behind her.
Hours later, she comes back home. “I’m sorry. It’s just… you said you’d retired.”
“I know, baby. But my boys needed me. Will needed me. I couldn’t just let them have Chicago.”
“You and Will, you did this before, didn’t you?”
“Yeah.”
She frowns. “Next time you run off to help your boys, you’d damn well better call first. I was scared to death.”

Moonlight, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Katara/Yue
Day passes and Katara stands by the shore. It is her time of night, when the moon shines over the water. She bends the waves into a tribute.
The moon is as impassive as ever, but in Katara's mind, for that moment, it shines only for her.
She pretends this is worship but she knows (or do they both know) that it is love. The cold light is also the soft memory of a girl who will never walk the shore again.
"I miss you…" Katara whispers, knowing she can hear nothing but her own soft voice and the sea.

Beautiful, Silent Hill 4, Cynthia Velasquez
"You're a pretty girl," men tell Cynthia. "Beautiful." Or cruder words, but Cynthia ignores those types.
She won't deny she likes it, that she stands in front of the mirror, pulling her blouse just right over her shoulders.
But she remembers her grandmother, who thought beauty was inside, who said so every Sunday when Cynthia came over for hot chocolate after Mass.
Cynthia hasn't been to Mass in a while, but she spares what she can for charity and stray cats, and prays for her grandmother. Men don't see that Cynthia, but she likes to think she is still beautiful.

Breakaway, Eyeshield 21, Panther (prompt 6)
The cheering of the crowd makes it easier to come back, to submit to gravity once more. Temporarily.
Mooncake, Trick, Yamada/Ueda (Prompt 1)
"Why."
"They're mooncakes."
"Why."
"Can't I bring you festive foods?"
"No."
"No?"
"No, you can't, because there's always a real reason you're sitting in my apartment - I know my landlord gave you the key, Ueda - drinking tea out of ridiculous teapots you go stupidly out of your way to cart here."
"I put them in a carry bag. It's not a -"
"Ueda!"
"You."
"Tell me! Or -"
He tells himself he does it to shut her up. The kiss feels like renewal; beautiful peace and welcome silence - and he wonders what took them so long.

Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Sergeant Albrecht, Darla (The Crow), Sarah (The Crow)

The day of the divorce is there
And the Law Is Just, The Mentalist, Cho/Jane (prompt 5)
"What I did – " Jane starts, pausing for a moment as if expecting an interruption. "What I did was justice. That man – he deserved to die."
Cho makes a living solving crimes and putting away bad guys. He's not under any illusions about his job being about justice, even if that's a part of it, yes. Mostly, though, it's about catching people who've broken the law and making sure they get the punishment the law says they deserve.
You break the law, you're just another criminal.
"Maybe," he says, because he feels he owes Jane that much (but no more).
Stuff Your Face, K-On!, Tainaka Ritsu/Hirasawa Yui
for:
Balancing the cookie platter in one hand, Yui reaches for the teapot. Leaning out of the way, Ritsu hurries to stuff cake in her mouth.
She's too slow, so she's sneezing crumbs and holding her tea-soaked shirt off her skin. Yui's splayed across the table -- she'd leapt to catch the cookies -- looking utterly bereft.
Big eyes, trembling lip, red cheeks.
Kissable, slappable.
Ritsu ought to console her. She doesn't know what to say.
Yui, however, is actually laughing. Chortling, she throws a cookie, then another.
Ritsu catches the second in her mouth; Yui claps excitedly.
Then they kiss.

Firing Range, Aliens, Vasquez, prompt 2
Vasquez shook off the derisive laughter behind her. She’d been hearing that kind of shit since forever: any thought the Space Marines with their sex-blind policies’d be any different had pretty much faded the minute she’d signed the enlistment papers.
She hefted the gun, feeling the strain across her shoulders, letting the balance settle before she lined the shot up, looking through the raised laser-sight. She jerked her hand on the griptrigger, the energized plasma ripping from the barrel with force enough to rock her back on her heels. “Do more than lift it.”
The Clothes and the Man, Material Girl, Orlando/Alex (prompt 8)
hethey've been working on for the better part of two weeks off the table (as he's never done before) – his hands meet Alex's, softly, a mere brush, barely enough to remind him to set aside this one particular pattern he created with Alex in mind. In yellow, it will look atrocious; in black, it will be stunning. On Alex, he fears it will be utterly devastating, but then, nearly everything is. It's Alex.
